Champagne gold dress

Hi Ladies I need some advice, I'm looking at a Maggie dress in a champagne gold color, my mother lovesssss it, I'm worried I cant pull if off, I was thinking more Ivory, has anyone worn this color??? I'm very pale if that helps any lol

went to a wedding last year in July and FH friend (the bride) was wearing a champagne color like wedding gown...well to say the very least ppl at our table (whom we didnt know) was saying how she looked washed out and the color was not for her. Granted my opinion was the same....champagne is hard to pull off...i would go try it on and take pics then post them -lol

I tried on a few Maggie dresses in that dark champagne color and it looked gorgeous. Very antique-y and classic.

I had to wear a champagne bms dress for a wedding and I hated it I thought I looked awful

i think it really depends on your skin tone. like for example I'm really pale and white dresses look awful on me so I'm going with Ivory. Do you have a picture of yourself in the dress?

I too am pale, well with a pink tint (lol) and i ordered my maggie dress in ivory. i also tried on my dress in ivory. and loved it. its all about what you can pull off. go try it on and take pics!!!

I wore a champagne dress! I was a lil weary about wearing it, but in the end it was totally worth it. I got a ton of compliments on it and it photographed beautifully! Its very different, but in a good way! You can totally pull it off! I am normally super pale, so that was one of the reasons I chose champagne. I tanned before the wedding, and it still looked very flattering on my skin tone. I have lots of pics on my facebook page..FM me if you wanna see! Good luck!

YES! I tired on Maggie Milana is Champagne and gold and loved it! Might get it but still on the hunt

I have to agree- I was at this wedding (Hi FSIL!!) The champagne dress looked fabulous on her and shes VERY pale :) I think it actually looks better on paler skin.

I wore a champagne maggie sottero dress, I wore the Adelaide...its a great color.

The only thing i STRONGLY suggest, is make sure your flower girl dresses are either ivory or a color, not white, b/c it does make a difference in pictures.
