I know this might seem random- but my BM is coming in this weekend from Chicago to go dress shopping with me. She must have seen this on a movie but she is dying to drink champagne while picking out my dress.
Has anyone done this? If so, where?
She was even thinking of calling the place to see if we can BYOB. I think she is nuts!

I would NOT drink anything while trying on the dresses. You don't want to spill anything on a $5,000 dress you don't own!

I heard that there is a place in CT (white dress by the shore?) that does this... I have never seen this in NY.

Bridal Reflections in NYC greeted me with champagne and gave me champagne when I purchased! (no, I wasn't drunk when I picked out my dress).

I went to the opening of the J. Crew bridal salon and they did this... but I don't think it's a regular occurrence there.

Pronovias offers you tea, coffee, water or champagne and they have beautiful dresses. The whole experience is amazing actually. (Flagship Store in NYC)

We drank champagne at Vera Wang when my MOH 'said yes' to the dress, they didn't offer us until after she was committed.

I went to Pronovias about a month ago with my mom and MOH and they didn't offer us anything! What gives?!
