Change of venue

Well ladies, we got word today, our venue has been changed, we lost our GCH deposit, which thankfully was NOT a lot of $$$$....our new location is the Rockville Links Golf and Country Club.....they're doing everything GCH would have done for $170 per plate LESS.....we can actually have a few more people celebrate with us, and for the first time, my parents are excited about our wedding.....FH is also really happy and had no objections to changing the venue, I think we finally made the right decision!

Oh you sound so happy and upbeat! Congrats! I'm glad everyone is happy... and WOW $170 less pp! That's a HUGE difference! I've never been to GCH....but by the sounds of it they seem to be on the pricier end.
It's also really nice that you can have more people there to celebrate with you guys! Congrats! Seems like you made the right decision!

Yeah that's pretty much what it was, and although I LOVED it, it wasn't worth my dad having a stroke trying to pay for it, our club is fabulous, we had our e-party there and everything was amazing, they know us so well and are doing everything GCH said they would do for so much less, it was a no brainer!
