changed our date

so after much drama with my mom...to appease her we've changed our date...from august 13 to april 30th...its a bit cheaper which makes mommy happy...

who knew a wedding could bring out more drama than i deal with on a daily basis with her...

awww thank you! yeah we don't really have a theme but i know what colors i want and that isn't changing...thankfully they're colors that look good no matter what time of year

my mom just wore me out running me in circles...to the point where i'm just so disgusted with wedding planning...i don't even want to think about planning anything until absolutely necessary

while it would have been nice to get married on that date really the most important thing to us is just that we get married...any date we have it will be special...plus I don't do well in the hot summer months so my mom..in that aspect..did me a favor...though i will never admit it

Ok! As long as you're okay with it! We're getting married on our 'anniversary' so I know how special it feels to want that day.

But, cooler months are better! I might not have been so insistent on our day if it wasn't in the winter! (I don't do well in the warmer months either )

is that why she wanted you to change the date? cuz it was cheaper?
cooler month will be nice...no sweating in your dress in august and no frizzy hair!!
