I love heels but to wear them all day and night long will never happen for me...my feet will be in pain! Please share what you're changing into (if you're changing shoes) at the reception...

Re: Changing shoes at the reception???
I changed into flats after the ceremony. They were very comfortable. I got them at myglassslipper.com, but I found them at Kleinfelds (they didnt have my size). Grace Shoes

Re: Changing shoes at the reception???
My dress was hollow-to-hem with my 2 1/2 inch heels....I don't want it to be too long so I think I'm rocking my heels all night....I found shoes in EXTRA wide....I'm putting insoles in and doing my damndest to be comfy in them!

Re: Changing shoes at the reception???
see thats what im afraid of...when you go for fittings you try it on with your shoes and they will hem it so it falls perfectly on the bottom...if i put sneakers on then ill be stepping on my dress

I plan on changing shoes.
I'm stealing an idea from GothBride55 and getting platform sneakers to change into.

Re: Changing shoes at the reception???
i decided to stick with low heels for the whole day. Normally i would have opted for a a higher heel shoe, but so many of the shoes i tried on seemed like they would get uncomfortable and i was worried. I have had issues lately with heels, and once they start to bother me i can't take it....i become whiny, and that is not pretty, lol

Re: Changing shoes at the reception???
my shoes have a small heel, as you can see.
I am confident that they will be really comfortable but just in case, I will be changing into bridal slippers. I don't have a pic but they are like white ballet slippers basically.
I am prob going to ge a cute pair of flats ...maybe flip flops

Re: Changing shoes at the reception???
the plan WAS to change at the end of the night into platform flip flops. . . BUT
after the first dance DH cracked my toenail so i had to change right away - my only other option was wearing a bloody shoe. . .i am just sad i wont have any sexy garter pictures bc i was wearing my flip flops when DH took it off!!
i wouldnt wear flats bc as other girls mentioned you will be dragging your dress all night

Re: Changing shoes at the reception???
I just gave more thought to this this week, and with 2 weeks until my wedding, I didn't feel like going out and spending money on another pair of shoes, not to mention drag my dress all over the ground since my dress is tailored to my 4 inch heals. I bought pads for the ball of my foot, for the heal, and special pads to redistribute my weight so that all of my weight isn't on the front of my foot. I got them all from CVS and it made my shoes waaaayyy more comfortable and more easy to walk in.
