I am wondering if anyone has been in a situation similiar to mine. Our wedding date is set for Aug 16, 03. Recently, my FH lost his job and is having a real hard time finding something (we live in MD, planning our wedding on LI). Obviously, things are really tight financially and we are considering postponing our wedding until 2004. Our reception hall will let us have our wedding for no extra charges during the months of Jan, Feb, and March. I am pretty distressed, so maybe some objective thoughts from you all would help. Also, anyone been to weddings in March? What is the weather typically like? thanks so much

In NY, March is a pretty unpredictable month with respect to weather. If you have to go with March I would suggest booking at the end of the month where it will be a little milder.

Our wedding was set for 7/5/02 but my fiance is in the AirForce and on 5/29/02 we learned that we had to postpone it without a new date. On 8/27/02 we learned we had the go ahead and repland it for 9/27/02
All of our vendors were amazing and worked with us and were all available the new date!
