Chateau Briand

Chateau Briand

Has anyone had experience with them for weddings. They seem very pushy about having you sign up. Its in my top 3 and I am going to see the final place tonight. But I am concerned that they are all about having you sign up then blowing you off which wont sit well with me.

So far I like them, Crest Hollow, and I am going to see the Venetian Yacht club tonight. I saw Crestwood and it was interesting. But my only concern was the lack of place to take pictures.

Chateau was the first place I saw, even though I liked Cresthollow better (and funnily enough, Venetian Yacht Club was my 3rd choice!)

I personally didn't think Chateau was super pushy. After our tour of the venue, the BM brough us into the office, showed us our menu options, and gave us our pricing, but I didn't feel pressured to book on the spot. We left without signing anything.

The next week we saw Cresthollow, which I had loved from the website, and loved even more in person. Their prices were comparable to Chateau's, but I thought CHCC was much prettier. Since price and date and everything worked out for us at CHCC, we booked on the spot, but we weren't pressured too--I just loved it so much I didn't want to lose it! We cancelled out appointment at VYC that night.

Hope that helps. Good luck!

I booked with Chateau and they were the nicest people I've met with. Very helpful and professional. Plus it's beautiful! I may be a little biased but Coming from someone who booked with them they're amazing! Lol

FH and I looked there first, I didn't think they were pushy and the owners daughter wound up giving us the tour. We left and looked at Swan Club, Royalton & Larkfield Manor. At a later date we went to CB for a bridal showcase and booked w/ them right then and there.

Thanks for your input. Just whenever I ask a question, they are more then willing to respond but always seem to be asking for a credit card at the end of the conversation. They are still very nice.

Have any CB brides have a DOC? Do you think its needed?

Did not like them AT ALL When i went...very pushy and was way pricer than Crest hollow and in my opinion Crest hollow has so much more to offer. The lady we met with Dawn was a little ghetto in my opinion and we felt rushed. I know two ppl who got married there and it was beautiful but it was just not my cup of tea. Just my opinion, good luck with your choice I am sure what ever venue you pick it will be beautiful.

I fell in love with CHCC but they were way to pricy IMO.. I'm sorry but it was over 1000 to have your ceremony outside and over 700 to have your cocktail hour outside! The place is beautiful why wouldn't you have those outside??? So I almost felt cheated with them. I was able to book my wedding with the general manager and he was more than helpful. You dont have to pay for cocktail outside and the onsite fee is average. He gave us tips on cheaper days and times which no one else we visited did. We had to drag out pricing on cheaper times from everyone else. I was able to trust him right from the start but I suggest checking out as many places, visit everything you want to see and when it's the right place you'll know!

I'm not sure if you do ro not, but I did hire one but more for piece of mind than anything else. FH has a big family that needs to be wrangled and I just needed someone to be nice but stern with everyone so I didn't have to be! HTH!

I am a former CB bride and cannot say enough about this place. My wedding was amazing and I am super glad we booked with them. We looked at CB a year before we started planning and fell in love. We went to look at DOZENS of other places and ended up there. I didn't feel pressured to sign or pay for anything. In fact, they worked with me to get the price we wanted and packaged we needed.

As for the DOC. I don't think its necessary since you have 2 bridal attendants, but I had one for peace of mind and I am glad I did it. Everything ran smoothly and great. MY DOC was amazing!!! XOXO

I was in a wedding there. If you want to ask me specific questions through a message, I can answer a little more.
Food was good.
They rushed us out of the photo studio and crammed us all into this very small bridal suite to wait for over 30 minutes. We could have been taking pictures.

Sometimes it's different from a bridal party perspective because you see more than a guest but you're not paying either.

We picked Venetian Yacht Club because of the size of the rooms and the view. The price was also very good for us (in March).

HOWEVER I LOVE CREST HOLLOW COUNTRY CLUB!
The food is AMAZING and the service is great. The pool is beautiful, the bathrooms are nice. Lobby is like a nice hotel. I highly recommend CHCC as I've been there several times.

I have also been in a wedding there. I feel that the room was crammed, cocktail hour was small with not many choices, food was not good at all (me and fh were starving and so was our table. and I am not very picky at all.

Crest Hollow is beautiful. I went to a wedding there. Food was good and outside is amazing.

Venetian was my 2nd choice so I can say I loved it. Great food, beautiful place on the water. I wish they had more outside grounds but it is still amazing.
