I received the free suite. Make sure that is something you negotiate with your BM. It might have to do with the amount of guests you are having. Saying if you are having 200 something people and its in the summer- that is the least they can do for you. GL

I didn't hear about this! We're using the Holiday Inn next door just as a convenience. My colors are chocolate brown, champagne and touches of rust. Can't wait!!!!

I am using the Holiday Inn too to get ready but I thought they offered a suite for the wedding night
I am so happy I booked my brial suite right next door ..it eliminated the need for a limo. I am literally going to walk to my wedding lol

Ugh! I wish, but I couldn't do that since our ceremony is in Bay Shore, I'll get ready at my house (FH will get ready at Holiday Inn) then have the limo take me and the girls to the church and then from the church to the RH and then crash at the Holiday Inn afterwards and go home in the morning :)

Re: Chateau Briand Brides.........
First off I am so happy to see all you CB brides! It seems there arent too many of us.
Anyway, I called the fox hollow Inn today and they said I would get 10% off a room rate for my wedding night. Still too much money for me to spend. Holiday Inn said I could get a room for $99 for my wedding night (regular room) b/c we're booking a few rooms the night before. We were quoted $155 for the sat. night before (room block). With tax its about $177, I still think its too much money for my guests to have to pay. Do you know of any other hotels in the area with a cheaper rate?
I'm also in the normandy room and my wedding colors are black and white with red accents

I blocked rooms at the Red Roof Inn much cheaper than Holiday Inn. Ive been there before and its just a basic hotel, clean but not really fancy. Its only for one night anyway. We have not decided where FH and I are staying though. Probably not the same hotel as our guests.
BTW im in the Leonardo DaVinci room

Re: Chateau Briand Brides.........
I booked both with both Red Roof Inn and Holiday Inn. I listed other options on my webpage as well as the link to Hotels.com in case my guests felt the prices were too high or the hotels were to their liking.
I reserved the a suite for Friday and Saturday night ( wedding night) @ the HI ....it just seemed practical.
