Re: CHATEAU BRIAND BRIDES-I HAVE A ??
I did. It was nice and convenient for people. Some people did book a room with them. I reserved 15 rooms. I think that was the minimum you can reserve.
The only thing is they get you because they know it is for a wedding. They charged $179 for the room. I thought that was really high.
That rate could have changed. It is worth checking out. Inside was very nice.
Scotto also owns fox hollow inn. I heard that is nice also. It is just farther away.
When you get your direction cards from Chateau the back will have info about the fox hollow inn. I didn't inquire about their rate. They may be cheaper.
Hope this helps.

the fox hollow inn charges 199$$$$ per night ugh alot and if you book the rooms and knowone takes them they make you pay for them or half somthing like that. but it is a suite and you can have more then two people share a room the couch is a bed to. the rooms are very nice.

We blocked rooms at the Holiday Inn - and I honestly forgot how much $!
No Fox Hollow for us - its too far and I refuse to give Scotto Brothers any more $$$!

Yes $179 a night. But as people just replied Fox Hollow is even more. I thought it would be. I was not held to paying anything if nobody booked. They took no credit card info from me. If that was the case I would not have done it.
Even though they were high with their rate it was still convenient going right next door. That is how I looked at it.

we got rooms at the Holiday Inn for us and our guests got their own rooms there, for $118. Maybe it was cheap because they booked it a few months in advance, or maybe because it was a slow time of year for hotels (June).

I think that the month has a lot to do with it also. The fall seems to be more expensive. The reception halls all told me that as well.

I blocked at the Wingate Inn, which is less than 10 minutes away....
Their prices were better than Holiday Inn (I think it was $149 a night for May 2003, including continental breakfast)
Rooms bigger, much nicer, hotel on a whole was great and much nicer than Holiday Inn. Service impeccable...

Youmight want to check out the Hilton Garden inn which opened up a year ago. It is off Old Country Rd., a hop skp and a jump from Chateaubriand and they offered us $129/night.
