Chateau La Mer

Original post by ChrissyV729

Has anyone ever attended a wedding at Chateau La Mer. My biggest issue booking a reception hall is not knowing how the food is. Does any have any opinions. Also 1 of my friends had a bridal shower there (I don't really remember the food but the place was beautiful!). Would I look stupid booking my wedding at the same placen?

I am also looking at Larkfield Manor, opinions also appreciated !

I went to a food tasting at CLM when I was considering booking with them and the food was good. Ask them if you can come in for a food tasting .. i think they do them often. I ended up booking with Larkfield... the food there is amazing(but clearly i am biased)

When I went to the tasting--I went 2 years ago and brought my parents, fh, hmil and my sister

They gave so much food...my parents joked about asking for a doggy bag---I wouldn't let them!!

Next thing ya know, the waiters packed everything up and let us bring it home anyway. A lot of tables did that.

It was delicious!

Re: Chateau La Mer

we had our reception at Larkfield Manor and the food was incredible. My relatives are still talking about it. There are pics in my albunm and the video slidshow shows how they display the CH food - - they sculpt nice figures in the fruit/cheese. I think it's cute.

Anyway, the people are great , the food delicious and oodles of it. we had Viennesse trays of pastris, cookies and fruit on ecah table rather than VH since so much food.
