Hi, Has anyone heard of Chateau La Mer in Lindenhurst? Is this place any good? Any info on this place would be helpful. Thanks!

**CHATEAU LA MER- NM Problem Solvers!!!**

Did anyone see the news last night about Chateu La Mer!!! I would die!!! Well for those of you that didn't it was on problem solvers. It turns out that a wedding there lost total power for 2 hours! The food was cold and the bride got money stolen out of the bridal suite!! The place didn't giver her money back I don't think either!! Well aside from that i never heard anything bad about it!! I looked there but it is not my taste! I would think twice!!

Funny you mentioned this because last night on Fox5, they did a report on this place and how a couple had an awful experience with the catering hall. The electricity went down and someone stole money/gifts from the bridal suite! I was thinking of looking into this place but after hearing what the Chateau's spokesperson response was to the questions asked and the lack of compensation that they provided to the couple made me change my mind. Chateau gave the couple an additional two hours at no charge, BUT the lights were out for over 2 hrs and the only people that remained were the bridal party.

Wow! You know, I had looked at this place because it was on the water but I was completely unimpressed with it, and with the people there. The guy we met with was totally slimy (talk about your snake oil salesmen!) and the place was just too neon and generic. Plus he walked us through a setup for a wedding that was about to happen and the food was already plated and looked terrible. Just my two cents.

We call it 'Sh*t hole la mer' I have been there for weddings, and the food stinks. Sorry, just trying to be honest. Lisa

**Sh*tho-Le Mer.....Good One**

Proms are one thing-but when you are shelling out mucho deneiro(a lot of money) for a wedding you want to be perfect-then you should look into a different hall. I also saw Fox 5 Problem Solvers last night and was absolutely disgusted with Sh*tho-Le Mer. I wouldn't recommend that place to my worst enemy.
