Chateau Le Mer is AWESOME

Chateau La Mer has made incredible changes. You can't go by their old reputation They were just bought out by someone else who has made DRASTIC changes. The food is now incredible, and the place looks gorgeous. I am not just saying it, but have gone on several tasting and know many people who have been to weddings lately. It is amazing, and so are the prices. I was DEAD set against it, because I knew their reputation. I would definitely recommnmed it. Nick and george turned my felling around. It is gorgeous now, and the food is amazing. An end of the year party and a wedding are a lot different. They are updating their website with all of the renovations.
I was also supposed to get married at the Riveria, but I pushed my date back a year. The Riveria was horrible. They went up $25.00 a person, and would not give me any of my money back. They kept three thousand dollars, and rebooked my date. I am presently in a case with the better business bureaus with the Riveria. The Riveria is beautiful, but they are not nice people to deal with, Take my advice call Nick at Chateau Le Mer. John Anthony's is beautiful too. Good luck. Any question FM me.

Thanks for your input ladies!!! I heard John Anthony's is going are has gone bankrupt.....but I saw it and it was ok...no offnse to anyone getting married there, just not me. Anyone know he website or number to CLM?

I agree with everything about CLM! Many good changes..they are adding a chapel in the basement, an elevator and a courtyard!!! Nick and George are incredible and were the nicest, most accomodating people we met in our 30+ hall search for the perfect place. The food tasting was one of the best we went to. They will not put up the website until they can take new pictures after the renovations are complete (early next year).

I agree! Chateau La Mer surpassed all my expectations for my Engagement Party in April!! I was amazed, more than anything, by the service! I didn't have to do anything more than look in the direction of what I wanted or needed and they instantly took care of it for me!! They were really amazing and I was very familiar with their past reputation also.

Do you have any pics from your sis' wedding? I have no idea what the place looks like! I never went to see it b/c I loved the Vanderbilt Mansion so much but to this day my sister is insisting that I go see it....ugh!!! Is it obvious that she didn't like the Vanderbilt Mansion!! lol
