I'm in the Emerald Room too...I'm very behind in my planning though...I haven't picked my colors or my florist...and I just don't know what will look good...How do we access pics from other brides that had their reception in that room?

im a chcc bride.ceremony and reception. we were booked at the plaza. as for ur question, i think for emerald room, low centerpiece is a great choice. :)

Wow saw another post on this thread and noticed my mistake- we are in the Empire Room which is the other half of the Plaza Room, but a completely different room!
And I agree with the others, low centerpieces work best in that room. I really hope that our CH is in the Emerald Room, so that guests who smoke and others have easy access to the outside.

Not having the ceremony there, but I'd be curious to know how they plan the rehearsals since they're always busy.

I'm having my ceremony at CHCC and I am not having a rehearsal before. We will do it the day of the wedding before the ceremony.

i'm not having the wedding party have to drive out to L.I. one night so we are just gonna have a real fast rehearsal type thing before the RD. not really much that needs to be rehearsed tho, it will basically be 'your walking with him/her' and this is what will happen next followed by this.. blah blah blah kiss .. blah blah blah PARTY! LOL

I'm having ceremony there as well. Actually I sent an email to BM about rehearsal, no answer yet... But I definetely need to get this done...
Also, I picked my CP's for this room..I'm having 2 types considered 'high' and 'low'..Using diff size vasses with orchids and floating candles, and willow branches with orchids (tall)

I am going to. I do not want to be rushed for pictures and don't want to miss the cocktail hour. So instead we are going to be doing a reveal and then have plenty of time for pictures
