Re: cheap bachelorette party
i just ran into the same problem for my friends wedding. her bachelorette party is in a few weeks and some of the girls were tough. my solution was to book a hotel room in RVC. this way we can eat dinner, bar hop and walk back. no need for cabs or limos.

A day at the vineyards? Or what about just picking a bar/club to go to? It doesn't have to be expensive. We did that for my friend. Everyone gave the MOH like $20 each (I think there were 10 or 15 of us)and it covered the bride's cover and her drinks all night oh and dinner beforehand also.

Re: cheap bachelorette party
what kind of party do you want? are you a party girl or do you like to stay in? If you like to stay in you could do a movie night and have it like a girly sleep over. Pull out the blender for some frozen drinks, play some games of truth or dare. Or you could grab one of the bachelorette party board games they have out there.
If you like to go out and party, just pick one bar. Go on a thursday when it's usually ladies night.

Re: cheap bachelorette party
I wanted my BM's to not spend too much money on my bachelorette party. What they did was have dinner homecooked at my mom's house, in house stripper, than we took a limo out to bell blvd. and hit up a couple of bars ( I think only 1 had a cover). It was so much fun!

They can go see a broadway play then go to to any bar/club and enjoy themselves.

I love the movie night slumber party idea with a big brunch the next morning!! You could do wedding themed movies like Run Away Bride & My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
Maybe a longs day at the beach and go back to someones house, shower and go out to dinner...not an expensive day but alot of fun!
Having everyone get together for dinner at someones house or at a decent priced resturant and then just heading out to a bar or club wouldnt be too pricey.

I think as long as everyone is on the same page and knows what is going on...you should be fine. I was in my friends wedding and her sister was the MOH.... we took her out to dinner and I had asked one of my friends to join us (she wasn't in the wedding party but she was friends with the bride). We had dinner and I thought we would pay for our own dinners then split the brides and take her out to a bar...well everyone but myself and my friend ordered really expensive dinners and we wound up paying $60 for a salad because of what everyone else ordered...not expecting that!

What about a BBQ at somebody's house? make it a hawiian theme? Make fun colorful drinks, play some fun bachelorette games, and then maybe go to a local bar after

We had something in our pennysaver for a vineyard tour it was $50/person for a 7 hour limo tour. They might be able to cut the price for less time.
Unfortunately/Fortunately it was for only 6 people.

Re: cheap bachelorette party
be careful with the all included vineyard tours...... my sisters and i did that for my moms bday and the limo company was AWFUL.... metro limo, rude, didnt send the right car, limo broke down AND the winerys were overbooked and we couldnt go to 2 out of the 4 promised and in micro mini writing in the contract it says 'we only guarantee 1 out of the 4' UGH!!!!

We're going camping in Lake George! Shouldn't be too much $$ - probably gas for the ride will be the most costly.
