Cheap yet respectable venue

Original post by camerasweets

Okay so I really want to get married to the man I love. The problem is at the rate we're on we'll get married in like 12 years. We both had a lot of debt that came with us into our relationship. At first the idea was to pay that off and then get married but that will take years and years. I do not want to wait that long. I also don't want to give up on the wedding of my dreams.

Here's what I'm getting at... I need to know CHEAP/AFFORDABLE/LOW BUDGET wedding venues on long island. I don't want it to be ugly though.

I have heard about the Coral House, heard its cheap yet elegant... hear anything about that?

thanks!

If you get married on off peak months the price per person will be less. Look at sand castle, douglaston manor, crest hollow cc, leonards, swan club, verdi's They have nice decor and cheap.

I agree with the other girls, if you dont want to sacrafice the quality of the place where we are getting married and thats the most important thing to you, then you can save a lot in January-Feb and on a Thursday or another weekday. Also having it in the afternoon save a lot of money, maybe you cant do this on a weekday but a Sunday afternoon would be nice.

You can try Verdis of Westbury or Whitestone. Also, you can have it in a private room of a very nice restaurant for a lot cheaper than some reception halls, and some even allow a dj and have a dance floor.

good luck!

Windows on the Lake is SUPER nice and affordable. Especially, if you do a buffet and have a time other than a Saturday night. They also have packages that include florists, djs, and a whole bunch of other venues!

I was quoted less than $90 a person at Windows on the Lake

Hi,
I received my information packet today from Coral House and my FH and I are going to visit them on Saturday. Should you call, ask for Linda. She is very knowledgable, polite, and patient.
I'll let you know how my visit goes. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
