Cheating Question

Cheating Question

I was talking to one of my friends who is also engaged and feels that if she is out for girls night that kissing a guy she meets is okay because she is 'not married yet' and doesn't consider kissing cheating anyway. How do you all feel about this? When I asked her if she tells her FH, she said no. Would you??

Ummm...I'd have to say it's definately cheating!!! If she feels the need to still go around kissing other men, then she has no business getting married. JMHO

Re: Cheating Question

I consider kissing cheating - FI considers kissing cheating...does everyone else - nope, but to each his own I guess.

There are couples out there that are 'swinger' and they do far and beyond kissing....and it's not considered cheating....

Yep, IMO that is cheating and maybe she isn't ready for marriage if she wants to still kiss other guys.

sounds to me like your friend is alread off to the wrong start. i'd like to see her make that statement in front of her fiance and see if he agrees. and if it's 'not cheating' then she should have no problem telling her man about it the next day--DOUBTFUL!

kissing is cheating--and she's kidding herself if she thinks otherwise. kissing leads to other things. bet she wouldn't be too happy seeing her man making out with some hottie.

I agree. I have not had the desire to kiss anyone since meeting my FH. If I did, I would seriously be reconsidering this whole marriage thing.

She's out of her mind if she doesn't think it's cheating. She having sexual contact with another man!!! Some people.

Re: Cheating Question

Kissing is definately cheating to me.. doeant even cross my mind. I wouldnt want my FH kissing no one.

For some reason ppl feel that the can kiss and do other stuff before the marriage and its not cheating. I once had a friend of a friend tell me that my bachelorette party is the last tiem fo rme to hook up and have a one night stand before the wedding. I was shocked to the say the least..

Wow-In my book kissing would definitely be considered cheating, in FI's also. On top of doing that she lies about it? sounds like trouble to me

OMG.. that is so wrong!!! doesnt she thing her FH will be hurt if he sees her doing this?? or finds out.. or does he know??? I thought about this stuff yesterday, FH and I went to the gym at different times cause i had a doc appt.. anyway, i caught him coming out of the gym we talked then kissed as i went in and he went home.. then i thought, if i ever saw him like that with someone else I would done with him... i dont think i could get past it!

She is 'cheating'! If she has that attitude now, I don't see it changing in the future. Right is right and wrong is wrong. And she is definately WRONG!

Very well said and I completely agree. She really needs to rethink her engagement.

I totally agree. It's terrible but since we had this convo I kind of look at her differently even though it has nothing to do with me. I just don't want her to mess up her marriage!

Yeah, her train of thought is probably why the divorce rate is so high.
