CHECK!! :) and Engagement shoot question!!

Hey ladies! Me and DH officially booked our photographer/videographer! We are using Foxlight Studios, we we fell in love with their work! We are getting our engagement photos done on February 6th--so excited!! I was wondering...for those of you who got yours done already, did you tip the photographer for the shoot and if so how much? We are using the photographer that we are using for our wedding. I just wasn't sure how much was a good amount. Thanks!!

We gave the photographer that is doing our wedding like $30 or so (dont remember the actual number) for our e-shoot.

Congrats! We almost went with them! We didn't tip for our engagement shoot, but looking back I feel like maybe I should have. It was really cold/windy, and we were late, I felt terrible. It was our photographer for the wedding and videographer for the wedding who did the shoot, so I think I will be adding more to their tip the day of the wedding.

Congrats on the check!! We didn't tip because A) our photographer is the owner of the company/our photographer on the day-of and B) we paid quite a chunk of change to add it on where other companies just included it and 90% of that went into his pocket for 90 minutes of work. We do plan to tip him on the day-of though. It's all up to you, everyone has different opinions about tipping people.
