So, we finally went dress shopping and chose bridesmaids dresses.
I only have two - my maid of honor/best friend, and my bridesmaid/sister, and since they are COMPLETELY different in all ways - style, tastes, and especially body types - I just chose a fabric and let them choose the dresses.
The girls will be wearing Watters Dresses in Sapphire Duchess Satin, which is like a sort of royal blue color.
This will be my sister's dress. She is EXTREMELY skinny and flat in all ways, so we wanted something that would accentuate her waist and give her a little flair:

And this will be my maid of honor's dress. She's very short (4'10), and very curvy and on the heavy side, so we wanted something really simple and sleek that would lengthen and slim her out:

And, so, today, as a thank you for putting up with my decision to wear a color that neither of them is crazy about, I decided to do a little shopping and get each of them a necklace to wear with their dress. I really tried to keep each of them in mind as I shopped for necklaces, so the necklaces are VERY different. I think they will go nicely with the dresses though.
The first necklace is for my sister (with the dress with the pick-ups) and the second is for my maid of honor (with the simpler dress). I bought both necklaces from www.etsy.com.
