Checks...Overwhelmed..in a good way!

We have over 65 or so checks. How in the heck do we deposit so many. Is there a special procedure the bank has?

Don't know about a special procedure; you can always call and ask. I suggest putting them in a CD account... if you can afford to do so. This way you have a nice nest egg.

We are actually going to put the money into an international account. The interest rates are higher than here in the US.

You can give them a 'tape' totalling all the checks (it can be a printed list of the amounts) and then put the grand total and number of checks on the deposit slip. Keep the checks in the same order as the tape to make it eaier on the bank teller.

We use a credit union and they lent us a stamp to endorse the checks - we just had to write our account number on the back.

Yes, this would be fine. I used to work in a bank in college, and we accepted big wedding deposits like this.

By the way, welcome back!
How long have you been back? You didn't post any pics or a review yet---did you?
How are you?
