Cheesy or Cute?

Being the wedding is in December, I thought this might be a cute necklace.

Originally I was going to do a simple solitaire, bt my mother said since my neck and chest is so bare with the dress neckline, I need a little more bling otherwise you won't even be able to tell.

Is this cute for winter, or a little tacky?

After some thought I decided not to get this...

because I'm a little slow, and forgot that my nana has a beautiful white gold and white saphire snowflake necklace that's a lot more discrete. Yay, found my something borrowed, now I just need my something old!
