Chick Flicks

What is your favorite 'chick flick' and why? I've watched all my 'chick flicks' several times and I'm looking for a new one to buy.

Steel Magnolias. I did the play when I was 17 with my really close friends and that movie just reminds me of those close friendships that I still have and I cry throughout the ENTIRE movie!

OMG!! Totally forgot about Mystic Pizza! That was such a good movie. I want more of a tear jerker though.

If you want tear jerker, I've never seen them, but I heard that Terms of Endearment and Beaches will make you BAWL.

There are MANY, MANY movies that I haven't seen - I'm just really not a movie buff. My brother and DH are trying to help me 'catch up'.

I've seen Beaches, but not Terms of Endearment.

Some of my favorite movies are listed on here, but I have to add 'Keeping the Faith' to the list.

terms of endearment makes me cry every time so if you are in the mood to cry rent that one.

I don't think there's been a time when I watched either of these movies and didn't shed a bunch of tears.

For some reason I love the movie 'Picture Perfect' with Jennifer Aniston - definitely a chick flick, as well as 'My Best Friends Wedding'. Or how about the movie 'The Cutting Edge'. I'm trying to think of movies I own. Oh, just thought of another - the one with Marisa Tomei & Christian Slater, I can't remember the name of it...but it's a good one too.
