Child Tux Rentals

Does anyone have any ideas on where childrens tux's can be rented or bought for a reasonable price. Some of the prices I have gotten so far are charging the same for a tux for a 4 year old as they are for the groomsmen. Any suggestions would be great.

I know, isn't it horrible??? My tuxedo place also charges the same price on a rental for a 4 year old as if they were an adult. They said it's cheaper if we buy one for $60-70. I don't think so. After you addin the shirt, shoes, bowtie, it'll be at least the same price. We haven't decided what to do yet.

I am using VIP (Syosset); they are charging $100 for the ring bearer's tux.

Tri County Flea market...

has 2 booths that specialize in fancy outfits for kids. Mostly centered upon baptism outfits. But they also have larger sizes. Depends on the age of the child...but I bought an outfit for a one year old..and it included the vest and bowtie. Mom bought the shoes.

Piccoli Angeli (Little Angels) in Whitestone

I don't know how far out in Long Island you are, but there's a store in Whitestone (Queens, right off the Cross Island Parkway) that sells fancy clothes for little kids. I bought the tux for my nephew (he's 2 1/2) there for $59 (no tax) and it was the pants, vest, tux jacket, shirt and tie. I also bought my flower girl dress there as well (also 2 1/2). Her dress was $60 and I saw the same exact one in one of those kiosks (sp?) in the Walt Whitman Mall for double the price!!

We are paying $60 to rent nephew's tux which includes shirt, shoes, etc. They are in Valley Stream.
