CHOC FOUNTAIN??

Here's an email that I got from one vendor...

Rental Package:

Our service includes the following:

Delivery, set up, tear down and cleanup within our delivery areas (additional travel fee outside Nassau Counties, NY)

2 hours use of a medium-sized chocolate fountain

Qualified operator on site during your event

500 wooden skewers

18-20 pounds of premium Belgium chocolate

Our Rates and Additional Services:
- $495 for all of the above
- Additional fountain time is available for $25 per half hour.
- Additional chocolate can be purchased with additional time for $50 per 10lbs.
-Dipping items are not included and can be provided by you or your caterer.
-Flavoring also available.

Payment:

We require a reservation, a signed contract and a $200.00 deposit at the time of booking. Reservations are limited and are on a first come-first served basis. The balance of your payment is due at least 10 days prior to the scheduled date of your event.


Once we have obtained the details of your event, we will fax or mail you a contract for you to review and sign. As a courtesy, we will hold your date without a deposit for 7 days to allow you the time to review the contract and mail your deposit or supply us with a credit card number (MASTER OR VISA).

That sounds expensive!

I heard Audreys bakery does it for $3 pp and it includes the dipping stuff like strawberries, biscotti, etc.
