If you are doing chocolate favors , how early do you assemble them?
My wedding is not till September and I want to get as many things out of the way as possible. But if i do chocolate favors, I can't really put them into boxes until the week beforehand, right? (especially it would still be reasonably hot around my wedding time)
Thanks!

Re: Chocolate Favors - Melting Problems?
i was goign to do them myself but then i thought i would be better off ordering them..
so i am ordering from godiva- picking them up and then delivering them straight to my hall-
this way i dont have to worry about it

Re: Chocolate Favors - Melting Problems?
My wedding was June (last year) and we assembled in mid-to-end May and kept them in my parents basement where it is cool.

I am not sure about freezing chocolate. Although we all do it at home for ourselves, frozen chocolate gets a layer of white flaky stuff when you freeze it. A basement is probably safer.

Re: Chocolate Favors - Melting Problems?
I assembled them in April and kept them in a tupperware in the basement. My wedding was in June.
