Just went to a wedding w/ one and it was great, so great I'm definately splurging extra on it, at my hall it costs 500 for the machine and then $1 per guest, for the fruits/marshmellows/candy ect for the dipping. Kids love it if you are having any kids at the wedding.

OOOO I wonder if they share amongst the halls- the scotto brothers- I dont want to spend 5 a head with audreys. hmm I will call and ask them, thanks!!

Re: Chocolate Fountains...

We had the fountain in place of the vieneese table -- We wanted something different...everyone had a piece of cake and pasteries at the international coffee bar - plus all the delicious items at the fountain...it went over huge!

I decided to forego the vienesse hour and just get the chocolate fountain for 1,000

My hall provides a cordial bar and pastries on each table on top of the cake so I decided the choc fountain is just perfect for us!!!

Has anyone had the chocolate fountain at Land's End? It's an extra $3pp and I was curious to see pictures of how it's displayed and also what's included to dip.

Thanks

Meg

My hall threw it in because we booked right after Christmas as a gift...Sounded good. It looks great and I already sampled it and I already told on of my BM's about the fountain and she said 'I am happy your getting marrried but I am more excited about the fountain'.

At the last showcase they had one. I don't remember everything, but they had angel food cake, strawberries, graham crackers and some other fruit.... I'm going in next Tuesday for a follow-up visit, so I will ask exactly what you get for the $3pp

We had a chocolate fountain (from Audrey's Bakery). It was a HUGE hit!!! I just wish that I had actually gotten a chance to get over to it! All the guests had left when my DH and I realized that we never got to try it. We ran over and Thomas from Audrey's was waiting for us with a plate of chocolate covered treats!!

How much do they usually go for?

we had one too and it was a huge hit! our guests are still talking about it as well!
I found the best pricing at www.simplychicevents.com, but be sure to ask your hall too, I found at afterward that I could have gotten an even better deal through mine.

I love chocolate so much that my FH thinks it is a disease!

I definitely need to have one. Who has the best chocolate fountains? Maybe I will choose my reception hall based on that!

Did you ever receive the specifics on this? When was the showcase you went to? Definitely don't want to miss out at the next one at Land's End.
