A little late, but better late than never. I donated my hair to locks of love. I know most people have been disappointed with my decision, but it was an easy decision. It felt good knowing it's going to a good cause, that made it very easy. I'd highly recommend doing this if you plan to cut your hair. Sorry I don't have a great after pic, but hopefully it gives an idea. 1,2 =before 3=after.
Looks very nice! But why are people disappointed with your decision? Because you cut it or because you donated??? Either one is not one to be 'disappointed' over -- and donating to locks of love is very noble! If people are mad you cut your hair, tell them to get over it. It's your hair and it looks great!!!

i plan to chop mine after being in my friends wedding, she asked me not to cut it yet so i can do more with it for her wedding

They are disappointed because I cut off all that hair. My response is...it's just hair, luckily it will grow back for me. People usually say 'ooh or wow' for long flowing hair, for short hair, the response is usually 'cute', which is fine, but after several of these disappointed looks about the haircut, it feels like...enough already, it's my choice, get over it.
