christening gowns
Re: christening gowns
What about going to a seamstress and having it made...you can even use your train from your wedding dress...I'm sure it wouldn't cost much.
Re: christening gowns
I had a lady knit amaya a christening gown it was gorgeous. I'll see if I find a picture. It had booties and a bonet to match.

I'm not a mom yet, but I am a godmother. I don't know where you live, but I went to three different places when my sister-in-law and I looked, One in Centereach on the north side of Middle Country Road just west of Nicolls Road (sorry I forget the name, but it had the best selection) One in Mount Sinai in the King Kullen shopping center on 25A, and One in St.James/Smithtown it was called Ragamuffins I think. Their selections were much better than JC Penney and wide variety of prices/materials. I think my niece's dress was about $100 and it was beautiful.
Re: christening gowns
I saw really beautiful ones at Talbot's Kids recently. Very classy and simple.
Re: christening gowns
Dennys has nice ones. That are kinda expensive though.
