Oh, okay.... i figured if you gave your name or FH's name and then they could look up to see whether or not anyone in your family was parishoners...
I don't know... sounds a little weird. I would try calling again and say that you really need to book your hall (even if you have already, but don't tell them that) but you realize you should book the church first. I would also ask them do they marry non-parishoners if you're not one... because you may jstu be wasting your time if they won't marry anyway (regardless of the books). I met with my priest in Dec. 05 to book a feb. 07 wedding.
