Church, again!

If you remember, I was told that a priest would get back to me. It's more than a week later, and they still haven't called back!

I was just on hold for 9 minutes, and then got a recording that 'the receptionist is busy' - THEN I WAS DISCONNECTED!

BY THE CHURCH!

maybe you should start looking for a backup church...because this one, i hate to say, stinks!

I know, but that's not an option.

It's our home parish - we've both received ALL sacraments here, since baptism!

Give me the name and location of the Church...

And this may seem assonine, but something similar happend to a friend out here in New Mexico. And they just went straight to the chair of the dioceses and lodged a complaint. Amazingly...the Priest called back after that.

Sometimes, the squeaky wheel gets the grease....

I just got through

We're meeting with a priest tomorrow night at 7 - and to be honest, it's the only priest I DIDN'T WANT. He's been sick lately (poor guy), and speaks very softly and quickly, with a think Indian accent.

I guess we'll give it a shot

Don't stress.. It took my church 2 weeks to get back to me.. and then after I decided what date and time, I left a note there confirming the date and time and it took ANOTHER week for them to get back to me..

But then again, maybe Nina should send her 'Uncle Vito' there!! lol

My wedding is on a Friday night - CH starts at 8pm, so I neeeeeeed the church's 5pm timeslot....I don't want the 3pm That's too early, and would leave a LOT of time between church and hall.

I have to say I am more and more inclined to have my ceremony on site! Even though my parents and FIL's would be in an uproar.

OMG I wish he/she were mine! That is my dream dog. I do have two cats (I guess I should be using their pics). That terrier is my inspiration to save money. FH won't allow a dog until we can buy a house. The way the housing market looks in NY I will be staring at the pups pic for a LONG TIME...but thats a posting for another board
