Church and a Rabbi??? Sounds like a bad joke

My FH and I have not decided on whether to have the ceremoy at the reception hall or a church but here's my question. Have you ever been to a wedding at a church that allowed both a priest and a rabbi to do the wedding? Thanks!

My Fh is jewish and we are having a rabbi perform half of our ceremony which will take place in my church. My pastor was fine with this. They are going to take turns doing different parts of the ceremony.

Thats exactly what I want. What type of church? Mine is Roman Catholic - I wonder if it makes a difference??

I got married at my Catholic Church, with a Rabbi and my priest co-officiating. It is definitely do-able, teh priest had to get the 'ok' from the bishop, which was not a big deal....

Good Luck

Awesome! Its funny because all along I've been saying that we are going to get married at the reception hall but the more I think about it I think it would be nice to get married at the Church where I was baptized(sp?), received communion and confirmation. We're not very religious so if we can not have a rabbi we probably will just have it at the reception hall but I'm so glad to hear that other people were able to have a rabbi in their church.
