Church Ceremony Location in Suffolk
I am looking for a church somewhere between Smithtown and Baiting Hollow that holds at least 215 people, has a center aisle, and would allow our own pastor to officiate. Any suggestions or ideas?

I don't know how much it hold.. but I used to go to this youth group in a church called Living Word thats in the smithtown/nesconset/hauppauge area. Its on 347. I remember it being fairly large but I dont know numbers. I dont even know if its still there seeing that I was last there like 6 years ago.

That is sooo funny that you said that! My fiancé is actually the youth pastor at that church! We would love to get married there but unfortunately it is too small for us!

I'm not sure if it's in between... but check out St. Philip Neri, right off of Main Street in Northport. The church is beautiful! Has a loooooong center aisle and it's huge! They have been so welcoming & accommodating, especially since we are not members of their parish. They have been wonderful!

Good luck with this. I had a very hard time finding a church that let us bring in our own pastor. One even told me 'we don't rent out our church' and literally had me in tears because I didn't feel that way about it. In the end our pastor was able to get us a church because he was once affiliated with them and asked for the favor on our behalf. My suggestion is to have your pastor call on your behalf or ask if they have any suggestions for you. It took us from May to February to get a church booked, it very frustrating and very disheartening. Good luck and I hope it's much smoother for you!!Welcome New Vendors
