SO.. I'm looking for a church to get married in around valley stream.
I loved St Agnes in RVC but since I'm not a parishioner at that church I have to wait until One year before the wedding. Has anyone became a parishioner at the church they wanted to get married in??
HELP ANY info is greatly appreciated!

Church ..HELP!
your hall is in the bronx, right?
i grew up near our lady queen of martyrs in queens (about 20 mins away from your hall - and one of the most beautiful churches in the area); its not too far from valley stream? not sure if they're open to non parishioners, but most are nowadays. might have to shop around a bit.
We became parishioners at our church. We both loved it and it feels like our parish, which will be a nice feeling when we get married as opposed to feeling more like a guest.

I've tossed around the idea of getting married in a church. FH is Catholic, but won't be getting his first marriage annuled, which tosses out the idea of getting married in a Catholic church. Anyone here not Catholic know of a church we can get married in? We're open to anywhere in Western Nassau.

What about St. Greg's in Bellerose or St. Mary's in Manhasset (BEAUTIFUL CHURCH!)? They aren't too far from Valley Stream.
