Church Interview (UPDATE)

Alright me and the FH are off to our church interview. Wish us luck....AHHH I am so nervous.

Ok we are back in 20 minutes. Not bad. He just asked if we really wanted to get married. If we have ever seeked professional counseling. If we will have complications for when we have sex. Like are we able to perform if not we need to discuss. lol He didn't ask if we live together, but he knows because we have the same address and he didn't care at all. He didn't ask if we have sex. It wasn't bad at all. We just have to this FOCCUS thing where we have to fill out questions (like they did on engaged and underaged i guess.) and then discuss if we answered differently on anything. And we have to go for the pre-cana classes, which doesn't sound as bad as I thought. We go to someones house with two other couples to discuss our christian faith. At least we aren't the only two. But it wasn't bad at all. We went over the date and time and he gave us a lot of info we have to fill out like for the readings and music and everything. Don't worry for whoever has to still go. Its quick and painless.

Good luck! I had so much fun when i went but i was a bit nervous. I really wanted the priest to know that we dont live together and that we are somewhat good catholic people.

Sex not included...yes I was crossing my legs, toes, arms and fingers.

SOme of them do,,,mine didnt.

They just basically ask if you can perform sex since marriage is for the reason of continuing family...do you know if you may have any complications that you may not be able to have children,,,basically I was asked.

And what if I do...my cousin knows that she cant have children but her and her boyfriend have discussed it.

I just went recently, unaware that they do an interview. Sex was brought up only because the needed to make sure that they knew we both have babies....

We are getting married at the same church. 20 minute interview!! We were there for an hour, but I am good friends with the priest. Is Fr Charles going to sing for you?

That is so funny. You know I saw your names in the book when he was penciling us in. You were the only ones penciled for April. I don't know if he is going to sing for us. The Deacon didn't say anything about it.

how funny! You guys are getting married three weeks after us. I am just curious what the church is going to look like considering they are going to redo it this summer/fall.

Are they doing a lot. My mom heard they were just putting in new carpet. I didn't even know they were redoing it.
