HI girls quick question, my church is charnging me a fee of almost 1000 dollars is that alot of money? is it average? I was just curiuos!

mine is charging me $600. i've seen prices anywhere from a $500 - $1500 for the church

Wow, that is a lot of money. And you belong to that parish?! My church which I belong to is only charging 450 but with precana and FOCCUS it'll come to about 800 for everything. They charge to have flowers there? Jeez. Some 'donation' that is!

My donation is $500 but I think that might be because I am an active parisher....Is this your church that your registered in???

yeah i was christened there, made my confirmation there, and now getting married there and thats howmuch it is...icant throw rose petals, but i have to pay a custodial fee...idk it doesnt seam right to me,

That seems so expensive to me. We're about to start speaking with our minister about all these kind of things. I hope she doesn't charge us too much.

WOW that's alot of money. I'm paying $450 but then have to pay another $200 for pre-cana. My church fee includes the music as well. We can't throw rose petals bc they say it's dangerous
Does your fee include pre-cana as well? What are the custodial fees? What if you try to get a family friend to do a quick sweep of the church to pick up the rose petals after the ceremony? or tip the altar boys to clean it up?

My church said we can make a donation if we want to. I don't have to pay the church anything but we will make a donation! I went to another church and the pastor just talked about how much we would have to pay her and everyone else involved, it was such a turn off! I did not feel like she was interested in us as people at all. She was charging about 1000.00. It really depends on the church.
