Re: Cigar Roller

Hi,
Though having a cigar roller is a very cute idea, and I was at a wedding that had one (don't remember the name of the company)...I just wanted to give you a heads up though, at this wedding when the guy rolled cigars during cocktail hour, all of the guests went outside to smoke it and were gone for a big chunk of the wedding hanging out outside.

East End Cigar Company in East Northport, 631.754.6639 - my FH spoke to the owner and said he was really nice, and he sent him some sample cigars which FH really likes. The package is $850 for 1 1/2 hours w/ a roller and an assistant-type that clips and lights the cigars and teaches people about them. It comes w/ 100 cigars - some rolled there and some pre-rolled, along w/ personalized labels. We haven't decided if we are going to do it yet, but if we do we'll hire this guy.

I was just going to suggest them, they are the best b.c they personally work on each wedding and really care about it. Every other company (there are only I think 2 on L.I.) just hires out and I hate it when companies hire out b/c you never know -nor do they- who and if the person will show up!

I'm using La Rosa Cubana Cigar Rollers - to be done during the vienesse hour.

They were the least expensive of cigar rollers I looked into.

Re: Cigar Roller

We didn't have a cigar roller b/c I went to party where they had one and everybody left the reception for a long time to watch/ wait on line. Instead, we had cigars rolled the day prior to our wedding from the company listed above- East End Cigar Company in East Northport. They had personalized labels on them. My Dad has gotten all of his cigars from them for years.
