Does anyone know the secret to getting these clean? My DH uses bar soap and it leaves spots on the lower half of my glass doors. I can't find a cleaner to take it off. Any suggestions or secrets?

I also have to get him to start using liquid soap because I heard this cuts down on the soap scum....also we have a squeegy hanging on the shower wall...BUT will he use it?? NO.

USE THAT MR. CLEAN MAGIC ERASER. IT WORKS WONDERS. I USUALLY USE THAT AND THEN SPRAY TILEX SHOWER CLEANER AFTER.

I just learned that Mr. Clean eraser trick myself. Uneblieveable! That little thing is amazing.
I too tried to get FH to squeegy -- but he said its too ridiculous to stand there naked and do it. Oh well!
Try getting him to at least splash the doors down with clean water when he is done -- I find if I at least wash away the inital soap, it cuts down on the scum because its not drying there.

The squeegie works wonders! It really cuts done on the reside left behind after showering. I will have to try the Magic Eraser thing too...the people we bought from said they used kaboom and it worked really well. I havent tried that so far we use the squeegie, and windex and they are fine!

I agree the squeegie works wonders! I also use scrubbin bubbles and after cleaning and drying I use (not sure of the name) but it's like a gloss that you buff on the doors. I find that it helps keep the shower doors soap scum free for about a week. Those glass doors are a pain in the a$$!

i HATE our glass shower doors ... but i guess that's another story what we do is spray the entire bathtub, including the walls and glass doors, with a daily shower cleaner and it REALLY helps keep the doors (and the rest of the tub) clean for a while!

Another trick is to use a wet dryer sheet. A used one is best. Just wet the dryer sheet and wipe the glass door with it, it breaks up the soap film. Then just rinse.

Thank you for all your ideas. The glass doors we have are beautiful...minus the soap scum build up. I will definitely try the magic eraser because I have one under my sink. I will also try the dryer sheet...Something is bound to work!!!

I HATE having a glass shower door. I use Scrubbing bubbles, or Kaboom. They both work really great!

We squeegee our glass doors every day. I asked my DH to make sure he does it since it creates more work for me later, and unless he is willing to clean the glass doors every week, could you please squeegee.
Our doors stay beautifully now! I use scrubbing bubbles on them once a month or every 6 weeks. Other times I just go over them with windex.

I just recently heard this is good for removing goo off of cars .. like bugs.
