Cleaning your e-ring

How do you ladies clean your rings? Do you clean it yourself at home? If so, what do you use? Or do you take it to the jewelry store?

I was just thinking today about how dirty I think my ring is...it was so much more brighter when I first got it...lol. I was just thinking about going to place where FH got it and asking them to clean it.

I found a website that said between professional cleaning you can dip your ring in vodka to clean it. I did it with my moms engagement ring and it actually worked

When FH bought the ring they gave him a solution to clean it in. When I went to have it sized they cleaned it for free. I plan on having them clean it before the wedding but the solution works pretty well and it came with a little brush.

B/c my ring is white gold and if u know what happens to it ...i had to get it dipped but the best is that were the FH got the ring i can bring it to them and they clean it and check the diamond and they just dipped it again ..and now it looks NEW!!! so now im careful and i dont wear it around the house and to the gym or work

I am obsessed with cleaning my ring.

Get a microwave safe mug, and put a drop of dish soap in it, fill the cup halfway with water and then microwave for a min or so.

Then put your ring in the cup (with a fork so it doesn't bang)

Leave it in for about a minute and then take it out and rinse with cold water. Like new!

I have this cleaner called Connoisseurs Jewelry Cleaner. You literally drop your ring in, leave it for 30 seconds, scrub it with the brush (that comes with it), rinse it and it comes out beautiful!! I'm pretty sure it's sold through Avon and it's only like 10 bucks

My friend actually uses Windex on hers and it always comes out sparkling clean lol.

My mom always said to use toothpaste and a toothbrush. Never tried it but she swears by it.
