Ladies I need to get about 110 clear labels for my invitation mailing envelopes. I don't want to spend an arm and a leg. I have a deskjet (which i'm assuming is an Ink Jet) printer.
Where should I get them? Any of you selling some?
Help me out...

I got mines from Staples and they were very affordable. I use my inkjet printer to print them out and they came out fine. Avery makes good labels that will disappear on the envelopes.

Re: Clear Labels for Invites
i found clear labels at the dollar tree for my classroom....they aren't as good in quality. I would start by buying one pack and checking the quality.

I got mine at Staples or OfficeMax-- I always use the Avery brand because they don't smudge as much as the Staples/OfficeMax brand.

I just used the Avery Brand the biggest size they had. I got them from Staples. Easy as 1 2 3. I have a inkjet to. Just let them dry a little.

Re: Clear Labels for Invites
Use Avery Labels- they are the best.
If you get them for injet printer you shouldnt have a problem. Make sure when you actually printing them though that you have the proper settting.

My wedding planning software has choices for the labels and most of them are Avery options. Is that what you mean by settings or do I have to do something with the printer?

Thanks for the heads up about the drying. Knowing me, I'd smudge the whole lot of them.
When I looked on the websites most places only had packs of 2,000 listed... i don't need that many... did you ladies find smaller packs when you were actually in the store, or is this how labels are sold?
(the laser printer packs came in smaller #s)

there are smaller packs at staples/office max. i just got a pack of 300 avery clear labels. i forget if they have smaller quantities than that...but it was in the $10-20 range (i thiinnnk). they have a whole section of different ones and different sizes. i believe mine were easy peel.
as far as the printer...set the size etc in word with like the label wizard. i would do a test sheet on plain paper or even on the label paper if u have extra because i know for my printer i can adjust the printer settings for different printing jobs based on the type of paper and what im printing (as well as the print quality). but im sure itll come out fine if u just print it with the reg settings.

I am not doing clear - i bought a tan color to match my envelope but the site i bought them from also has clear labels - and they're sold by the sheet so you only have to buy what you need.

at work we use th4e clear labels and they are the Inkjet easy peel clear mailing labels #8662 when you go into word and do a label- do new document and make sure you go into options and change the label code to 8662--- that is the correct size for word to print out the labels in a full sheet
