CLM help!

So we had an appointment with Lou last night becuase we have some questions about the seating arrangements and everything...our appointment was at 9:00....he came upstairs with a couple at around 8:50 (we got there 15 mins early)..half smiled at us..then kept going upstairs...went back down and didn't say anything to us (which was fine since he was with other people)....but then we ended up waiting until 9:45 then left becuase he nver came up or anything. I thought that was so rude! We asked the girl to have him call us to reschedule...nver heard from him. Finally we called today around 4 and Nick was in..he said he could not believe Lou made us wait that long (esp since we drove 45 mins to get there) and to not deal with him anymore only deal with Nick. He was so nice and on the phone and answered all of our questions. We have only dealt with Lou never Nick...but from now on it will only be Nick!!!

Anyway..my question is....how are you ladies arranging your tables?? I am in the upstairs room. Lou made it so taht our table was under the bayview....the DJ to the left and the tables down the side with 4 in front of the fireplace. He told us taht our parents would be at the four tables straight across the dance floor from us..but we want them next to us. Then we were afraid fo the DJ being too loud and right in their ear. Nick told us another way to do it was to have us on the side of the dancefloor with 2 tables on each side (right in front of the windows side)....the DJ under the bayview...etc. My question si how are you ladies arranging you tables? I might have been a little confusing descirbing it...I can post pictures if it makes it easier. But we are just worried teh DJ will be blasting in our parents ears! What do you think?

Wish I could help but we were in the downstairs room..... I tried to put the younger crowd closer to the DJ--but in downstairs room that meant tables closest to us was our family and BP.

I am sure a downstairs bride can help further.

I am upstairs and I have no clue where I am setting anything up yet IoI but from what you are saying sounds good to me.

I am shocked that lou did that. I dealt with him first and had no probs .. we just booked with nick because we negotiated pricing with him and felt to keep the one who made the price up as the person who we directly dealt with.

LOL yeah, Lou can be a bit spastic!
We got married in the big room downstairs, so I am not sure how it was mapped out for you, but either Nick or Lou should be giving you a seating chart with where all the tables are going to be. Then all you need to do is to put the number of people who will be sitting at each table.
