Clomid

Hi ladies - I haven't been on this site for at least a year since I was planning my wedding but thought I'd start in again as I am now trying for a family.
I do have a question....I went off the pill a few months ago and my cycles have been 33 days, 32, 41 and 36. I had bloodwork done and the Dr. said it doesn't look like I am ovulating so he decided to put me on Clomid (50mg).
Question...I am suppose to take the pill days 5-9 and do it on days 11,13,15,17...Is this what others have been told?
Any info would be so helpful!

I am on my second cycle of clomid now
first cycle 50 mg,
second cycle 100 mg (NOW)
and I will do a thrid if needed 150 Mg.

I was instructed to take the pilss
day #5 - 9
and then BD Day 13, 15, 17 or use ovulation kit to guide timing.

I bought a Clear blue easy fertiliy monitor to help guide, bc my cycles were kinda out of wack like yours,
32 days, 41, 33, 52 Days - all crazy,
so I figured at least with the monitor I pin point my O days,
and bc of Dr's recommendation on getting a kit.

last month we did the every other day thing,
but this month we are going to do it every day of my o week

I was taking 50mg of clomid for the last 5 months, this month I did 100mg. We will see if I get preggo this month. If not, my RE said he will put me on 150mg next month. Since my insurance doesn't cover my RE I have to pay out of pocket until January when my new insurance covers it. If I don't get preggo, in January my RE will have me do the hormone shots....I am really praying I get preggo before that, I HATE NEEDLES!!!


ETA: the last 5 months I was taking the pill on cycle day 5-9 and BD on days 13-20 doing it every other day. This month we did IUI.....
