Anyone doing anything unique or different for theirs?

Because dad's side is Puerto Rican...we are having the whole suckling pig. As well as a Yankee ice sculpture...

Sometimes people think the pig is scary...but it is such a necessary at my family functions

Not for any particular reason - but we are doing the suckling pig too!! (Just because FH wants it!!)

We are going to have a guy playing the steel drum for a relaxed summer afternoon feeling.

my friend had the pig at her wedding (big sicilian family) - i didnt know about it until i saw it, it scared the cr@p out of me!!!

But it is an impressive display...

Nothing really for the cocktail hour. But there will be a lot of beer drinkers at our wedding. So we got personalized beer koozies we are going to give to the bar tender to give out starting at the cocktail hour.

In addition to the huge amount of food we already have at cocktail hour(we got so many things thrown in.) We are also having the seafood boat.

I guess I am in the minority... nothing too crazy, just the food and booze that the hall provides. Our band includes a musician for the cocktail hour, so we may do that. My cousin is going to play the bagpipes at some point... but i think that would be better during the reception.

We are having a singer for the CH! He sings old songs like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin.....etc! We had him for our engagement party and loved him! Everyone raved!

We are having some kid friendly foods. I have a couple of siblings who are much younger than me. I wanted something for them. Mini cheesburgers, chicken fingers, french fries, ect.
