I know many of you have said that you want to make it to your cocktail hour, but will you walk around and talk to people or just stay in the bridal room (I'm not sure what that room is called lol) Just wondering what everyone is doing.

Me and FH have thought about this topic long and hard. Honestly, we are not going to be a part of the Coctail hour. Our parents and our BP can go hang out, but we want to finish pictures and want to spend time together. i know the whole day will be crazy that I want as much time w/him as possible.

We are definitely going to be walking around and mingling. Besides, we are at JT and their food is amazing so there is no way that we'll miss our CH food.

My ceremony and reception is at the same location. CH starts right after .So right after the ceremony we have to do pics.
Now that I think about it why do the RH get you all excited about CH when you won't even be there to enjoy it?
Right!! But I will make the Grand Entrance!! I don't have a big Bridal Party.. This helps to us to chat and give thanks...

I absolutely want to be at my cocktail hour with the guests. I am not missing a second of the party. We are making our entrance about 10 minutes late to the CH because we are coming in by boat. Then as the guests are getting seated in the RH we will be taking our sunset pic with the bay behind us, (because sunset on Aug 8 is right at 8pm) then we will be entering the RH.
Also as for your bridal party I suggest letting them be at the cocktail hour. When FH was in a wedding they kept the bp stuck upstairs and it was so miserable for me to not have him there for the hour and he was miserable being stuck up there. We both hate being stuck in a bridal suite during the cocktail hour for other people's weddings.
