Cocktail Hour

I know many of you have said that you want to make it to your cocktail hour, but will you walk around and talk to people or just stay in the bridal room (I'm not sure what that room is called lol) Just wondering what everyone is doing.

We might go and socialize with our guests because we have no bridal party but we also want to make a grand entranace..so not sure yet

Saying hello to as many people as we can so that I don't have to spend too much time doing it during the reception. I want to drink, eat, and dance!

We plan on walking around and getting our hello thank you for coming spiele out of the way so we can enjoy our reception with everyone!!

Good Question:

I thought about joining my CH but then I thought it may take away from my grand entrance as husband and wife....also I figured if I joined the CH I would need a 2nd dress IDK I will prob just wing it!

We're having a light show for our grand entrance.....so we 're going to stay in the bridal suite for ch. We will probably be taking photos on the grounds also

Mine as well... But I want to spend at least 20 mins alone with the Bridal Party in the suite brefore hand...to thank them again for everything...

i loove the idea of making grand entrance at the reception. im just a little torn but im thinking grand entrance is way to go.

My ceremony and reception is at the same location. CH starts right after .So right after the ceremony we have to do pics.

Now that I think about it why do the RH get you all excited about CH when you won't even be there to enjoy it?

Thanks ladies for all of the ideas! I'm think about walking around the cocktail hour as well, besides wanting to eat everything after dieting I really want to say hello to as many people as possible so I can enjoy the night and dance! I'm glad others of you are thinking about doing this as well.

I am going to go to cocktail hr for 45 min then going to go change into my red chinese dress to do the tea ceremony then change back into regular dress after.
