Cocktail hour

I don't think we are going to ours. I think we'll be taking photos for part of it ( we have 90 minutes of CH) and then relaxing for a bit in the suite to regroup.
I've actually been surprised with how many girls I see on here saying they are going to theirs, just cause i've never seen that at any wedding I've been to, but to each her own

That is why I asked the question. I have never seen the bride at any wedding I have been to, I was also surprised to see how many brides on here plan on going to theirs. I don't think we will be going to our either. I was told that the bridal attendant would bring the food to us in the bridal suite.

i think it is becoming more frequent.. the last 2 weddings i have been to on long island the brides were at the CH

FH and I definately want to go to the cocktail hour.

It will give us a head start of saying hello to everyone...plus I know FH wants a piece of the Coney Island station. hehe

definitely going to ours! we made the church time earlier in the afternoon so we'd have to take pictures after the ceremony before the cocktail hour- which is an hour and a half! want to make our rounds and greet all of our guests before the reception so we can party! hey, we're spending all of this money, want to enjoy the party ourselves also

We are hoping to go to at least part of our cocktail hour.

I'd like to get as many photos done before the ceremony as possible without seeing FH before the ceremony.

We didn't go to our cocktail hour...we ate the same food in the bridal suite and we took a lot of pro pics and just stayed with each other and the bridal party. It was nice and then we made our grand entrance.
