We aren't doing flowers during cocktail hour. We want the focus to be on the food and don't really want to waste the money on flowers just for 1 hour.
I still need to speak to my RH about it... they aren't using those small tables... rather the same sized ones as the ones for the reception... So I will see if they will throw anything in for me, otherwise I'll just use some candles...I have plenty of them already. Went a bit over-board. LOL
Our RH is providing us with round glass bowls filled with sand and shells, so we aren't buying anything additional
We are having 14 inch cylinder vases fill with water and fuschia orchids floating in it.
None for me. I think the RH puts votives on the table but, with only being there for an hour, I just didn't think it was worth it. Plus, the tables are small and the guests would probably just move any CP's out of the way so they can put their plates and drinks down.
I am also at Jericho Terrace so I am using whatever they give us!!
my RH does it.. but I'm going to see what they have planned and if I want to add something to that, I will
My idea was to buy small metal pails and fill them with hydrangea for the church pews and then have them transported to the RH for cocktail hour tables and scatter them throughout...Any ideas as to where I can buy these metal pails?
There's enough going on at my RH that I don't need to add anything to CH.
i was just thinking about doing candles
