I'm still up in the air about if I will attend my own cocktail hour. I realize I'll be missing stuff, but I kind of wanna make my grand entrance at the reception.
What are you girls doing?
Is it weird if I don't attend and FH does?

Re: Cocktail hour question
I will DEFINITELY be attending my cocktail hour. FH and I have 3 1/2 hours in between the time the church will end and CH will begin. Besides, that's usually when the best food is out
You'll still get to make your grand entrance into the reception too, so why not?

Re: Cocktail hour question
I am def not going to the CH for multiple reasons. First of all, I def want to have my grand entrance with my husband in the main ballroom. Second of all, I hate crowds and mingling lol. Third of all, I know I am going to really need that time to relax in my bridal suite and just chill out with no worries, it will be a great respite and our only time to rest throughout the long day.

Re: Cocktail hour question
Yeah, I would definately like to first been seen as we make a grand enterance at the reception but I decided that I dont want to miss a moment of my wedding and we are paying too much money to miss anything, lol, JMO so we're going to go. Um, honestly, I think it would be weird for just FH to go to the CH, sorry. I just think, you guys just got married so...

Re: Cocktail hour question
I'm on the fence about this too. RH gives us and the BP a private CH but I kinda want to attend the one with all of the guest and see how it is. We will have a two hour gap between the ceremony and CH for pics so we'll see. FH prefers to just stay at the private one and make a grand entrance.

Re: Cocktail hour question
I'm attending mine. It's 1 1/2 hrs, so it wll give us plenty of time to say hello to everyone. I want to do that so I can enjoy the reception. Plus, I want to try the food!

Who made that rule???????
I've seen plenty of people go to their CH and still make a grand entrance at the reception.
