Ok...So I went to Russo's this afternoon - and they can't do 6:30 - However, they can do 6pm - personally - I think that's too early - Sat night would be fine - but NOT a friday! That's way too early - plus it would totally mess up my pic schedule - I'd have to move Westbury Gardens up and it would be cutting it real close - cause I'd never make the first half of my cocktail hour - and I most certainly want to be there! AAHH - I have them bringing my vienese out at 1am - with to go bags and boxes as well - if you want to stay - you will - if not - eat some dessert - and by 1:30 you can leave! I can't worry about it now!

8:30 is wayy too late everyone but ur friends are going to be all gone b y 12am.. i definitely say change it~~

i would try for the 6:30 no question i think the 8:30 start is too late JMO

Don't stress.

I think the 8:30 is fine. Much easier for people getting home from work and stuff. Maybe even grab a nap. I'm not sure when the church is. And I agree to bring out some bags...who knows ppl will be in party mode and not realize how late its getting!

Thanks so much - I can't stress. Actually - my family are really big partiers! The way I look at it - everyone knows ahead of time what time it starts! Take a nap - prepare! LOL It's one day out of the year! Suck it up! LOL

our wedding is at 430
cocktail hour begins at 730
reception 830-1230 and its a friday also

Yeah, I think 2:30 end time is really late. We're doing our ceremony at 6 and then CH is 6:30-7:30 and then the RH and extra ven. hour will be from 7:30-12:30.

i vote 6:30 unless your fam is a party family cuz i know i want people to stick around because of the ice crean bar and such i wouldn`t want people to say it`s way to late to hang out here all night. i know it`s hard cuz 6:30 is still early for people who have work but you are giving them way more advance then they`d need to get out a lil early. and who doesn`t like getting out early on a friday??

we are getting married on a friday and our cocktail is at 7pm....so i think 6:30 would be perfect

i wish i could have it earlier ..mines at 8!!!! but either way i think your ok..in the end the partyers will stay anyway!

I voted for 6:30....8:30 is good for people that will have to work that day since its a friday, gives them mroe time to get ready and get there, but you also have to think maybe they wont want to stay that late because they did work?
6:30 sounds like a better time because it wouldnt end as late
