My DJ wants to know the type of music (artists) we like to play during cocktail hour.
What's everyone else playing?

handed mine in last night...we told him to play artists like jack johnson, joshua radin, dmb, john mayer...like soft rock/indie folk because during dinner we're doing the sinatra, tony bennett, buble thing.
didn't want to be redundant, but either of those work. soft stuff that people can talk over (who notices that cocktail hour music anyway?)

I think I am just going to tell my dj to play jazz. I know nothing about jazz really...but I feel like it'll be good CH music. lol

Were doing the same for dinner to so I didn't want to do that during cocktail either. Thanks

We're doing jazz as well. I love the mood it sets during dinner/chatting.
