Color Champagne

What color are your BM wearing?

I really want them to wear champagne. The questions are :

1- do you think in pictures you will see the difference in color against my dress?
2- Do you think that champagne ties and/or vest would look right with a black tux?

My bm dresses are champagne.. I think it is dark enough that there will be a definate difference in pictures.

The champagne ties and vests looked awesome with the jackets on but looked hideous with them off next to the white tux shirts. For this reason we are doing black vests and ties.

I am doing Champagne BM Dresses also. We haven't thought about the tuxes yet though...The girls have a mocha sash and will have fuschia, deep purple and lavender in their bouquets I think - So we may try to pick up some colors from there in the tuxes...not sure.

I had champagne bridesmaid dresses and had the guys wear black vests and ties.....I didnt think I could get a good match of the champagne vests and dresses and it looked great....I will try and post a pic.

i chose champagne bridesmaid dresses and am seriously regretting it. i wanted a slightly darker beige, but the color was not available in the style i chose. While i think champagne looks good in person, i have seen many pics where it looks fairly close to white. i wish i had chosen a light pink or celedon :(

I jsut went to a wedding where the BM's wore champagne, and I thought it looked great! They definatly didn't compete with the bridal gown!

I wore a champagne color dress for my brother's wedding and I LOVED that dress! Their pictures came out amazing with us and our colorful flowers against our dresses. It looked so great. The guys work black tux with black vest and tie.

my BM dress is champagne -- i don't thin kyou should worry about it next to your dress. i'm not sure about the guys though. A friend had champagne and the guys ended up with gold ties (IMO, it was ugly) and i don't want that. i think champagne is a tough color to match for men. i might just do straight black tuxes for them. not sure yet.

I did mine in champagne and Taupe. I loved champagne but was concerned that in outside pictures it was too close to white. So I ordered Bill levkoff 704 (you can go to the web site and type in that style number) and i ordered it in champagne/taupe... so that i stuck with the neutrals but the bottom was a little darker so it wasn't all a light shade. You should check it out... I really love love the dress

I did champagne and it looked fine in the pictures. We chose black vest and ties for our groomsmen, too.

I had an ivory gown w/champagne bm's dresses. DH wore ivory on ivory and the guys wore black on ivory.

The last pic is non-professional. HTH!
