Color of your dress?

Ladies, what color dress do you have or do you plan to get? I ordered Ivory, but my FH is now telling me that he would prefer white, as ivory will just look like a dirty white. Maybe he doesn't know what he's talking about, but I do want him to like the dress. Thoughts? I am fair skinned. The wedding is in August, so I could have a light tan, but I never get very dark.

you can't ivory isn't white until you hold it next to something white... won't look dirty at all!!!!!

I'm wearing ivory, but it certainly looks white to me. There are a ton of different shades of ivory out there. He may be thinking you are wearing more of a yellow ivory?

I ordered silk white. I was told it's closest to diamond white.

I am very fair skinned, and went with a champagne colored dress. It really makes my skin look a whole lot better!

it depends what looks good on you. I am extremely pale and white would wash me out so i can only get ivory.

I'm very fairskinned and burn after being in the sun for like ten mins lol so I chose ivory so I don't look washed out! Can't tell difference unless he is wearing white too

I'm wearing white. I believe my veil is diamond white.

im wearing white...however...ivory tends to flatter most skin tones more anyway! screw white if you like ivory!

I'm getting Ivory. I am also very fair skinned and I hate wearing white. It doesn't look like a dirty white. I'm sure once he see's you in the dress whatever color it is he won't care. All he'll see is his beautiful new wife!

I put other cuz technically my dress is 'off white' but I've been told that this is pretty much Diamond White
